The Home Nations is a high-profile series of four tournaments run by World Snooker as part of its main tour. BEARD, M+T Group’s creative studio, was engaged to create a new look and feel for the competition.

THE
CHALLENGE

With a focus on trying to increase the number of viewers for this new tournament series, as well as engage a younger audience, a new style was needed to help differentiate the Home Nations. 

THE M+T
SOLUTION

A set of illustrations and a new identity was developed for use in all online and printed promotional activities. They were also displayed throughout each venue and used by TV host, Eurosport, as studio graphics. The flexible illustrated style allowed for new player-orientated graphics to be quickly created according to the progression of the tournament.

These visual assets have since been featured in various locations throughout each event, online as well as by Eurosport and used for promotion to help increase visibility and awareness.
