Copy Writer – Technology & Science 

Full-time permanent role

Do you have a passion for technology and science, with a talent for writing about these subjects?

We’re looking for a new copywriter to join our team that can distil technical and scientific concepts into targeted and relevant messages for B2B audiences. Working together with global companies in pharma, engineering, fluid control and chemical processing, we help tell the stories behind the latest innovations and applications across industry.

DMA Europa is an award winning full-service B2B agency that provides industry leading companies with a range of marketing services from brand development and strategy to global PR and communications, advertising, 3D design, video and graphics. We create and roll-out content for product launches, application stories, thought leadership and positioning campaigns.

Responsible for the creation of copy for a wide range of purposes including social media, editorial opportunities, websites and promotional literature, the successful candidate must be able to combine a passion for technology with an adaptable approach to writing. Beyond this, a solid knowledge and experience in either a scientific or engineering field is key.

Snapshot of your responsibilities

• Manage monthly writing schedule to meet all targets
• Coordinating content creation and approvals processes
• Communicating with clients and third parties to create briefs
• Conducting independent research around key topics, technologies and trends

What you bring to the table

• Proven experience in writing creative and editorial content
• Experience in an engineering, technology and/or science sector
• Adaptable content writing skills – the ability to communicate customer messages using their voice
• Fluent in English with a keen eye for detail and a love of language
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
